Look for builds that give the RTX 5060 enough CPU headroom — an Intel Core i5-14400F or AMD Ryzen 5 7600 class CPU is a solid target. 16 GB of DDR5 minimum, 32 GB preferred keeps modern games and background apps comfortable, and a 550–650 W 80+ Bronze/Gold PSU keeps the 8 GB GDDR7 / 145 W card stable. RTX 5060 vs alternatives
Versus the RTX 4060 you are buying architecture and frame-generation features more than a giant raster leap. The RX 7600 / 9060 class can be cheaper for pure frames; NVIDIA wins if you stream or use ray tracing.
